The exit point from the Dolina Za Bramką (Valley Behind The Gate) is located on the Droga pod Reglami stretch between Dolina Strążyska (Strazyska Valley) and the Dolina Małej Łąki (Little Meadow Valley). The way you can reach it is either following Droga pod Reglami from Zakopane or from the west side of the parking lot at the outlet of Little Meadow Valley.

We follow the green trail. Soon we pass between two limestone walls – this is the “gateway” from which the valley takes its name. The space between the rocks was carved out in 1875 to widen the road in the valley. Opposite the mouth of the valley is a historic Sabala cottage, where in the nineteenth century, the famous highland musician, storyteller and hunter – Jan Krzeptowski, called Sabala, lived.

On the way, we can enjoy a very interesting rock formations called Jasiowe Turnie. The valley is at its most beautiful in autumn when the beech trees growing there take on unusual colours. We pass the second “bramka” rock. The trail ahead leads over the bridge, next to the stream, which creates a small waterfall and above, by another bridge, to the third and final “bramka”. It is a very charming place! The trail ends ahead, as we reach the boundary of the nature reserve and access is prohibited. You can take a well-earned rest on one of the benches built for tourists and head back down the same route.
