The trail leads through Dolina Wyżnia Chochołowska (Upper Chocholowska Valley). Only after entering the ridge (25-30 minutes before the summit) can we admire the magnificent landscape of the Western Tatras. The trip starts at Polana Chochołowska (Chochołowska Glade). Just before the shelter, at the crossroads, we peel off onto the green trail.

Then calmly stroll down a gentle path and through the woods (about half an hour parallel to the red trail on Trzydniowianski Wierch and in its immediate vicinity). Nearly 45 minutes after the start of the expedition we enter a layer of mountain pine, and start the approach (at first very mild). The views are fairly limited at first, apart from the odd glimpse of the Lopata peak but as the trail leads us up the ridge (this stage may be very tiring), we are once more treated to the beautiful panoramic views of the Western Tatras.

We can see the intersection of trails (to the right, blue trail on Rakon and left Wolowiec). A little more than 300 meters to the north of us is Zawracie Pass, where in the winter there is a high risk of avalanches.
